2024 Kite Flight for Sight

Our annual Kite Flight for Sight event is coming up, and we couldn’t be more excited!

Don’t forget to track your reading for the Cedar City Lion’s Club 20th Annual Mountain Eye Institute’s Kite Flight & Community Health Fair.

April 20nd at 10 AM – 3 PM at Cedar Middle School

Everyone is welcome! It doesn’t matter if you attend public school, a charter school, or homeschool, we want to see you there!

    For the last 5 years my kids who are homeschooling have turned these in and so far not one has been honored and the money that’s supposed to go towards helping students has never been sent to homeschoolers. Does your agency not support homeowners? If so I’m wondering why? I’m just honestly curious and not trying to cause a problem.

      I’m so sorry to hear that! The Kite Flight director, Mark, was adamant that we offer this to homeschoolers this year, especially when he learned at about 1/5 students in Iron County is homeschooled!

      There must have been a serious mistake or misunderstanding, I’m very sorry to hear that. Let me bring it to Mark’s attention and see what we can do. I’ll email you.
