12-11-2023 Speaker – David Johnson

David S. Johnson is the Economic Development Director for Cedar City, Utah. He previously served as the City Manager for Blanding, Utah and the Economic Development Director for Saratoga Springs, Utah.
David has 17 years of experience in public, private and non-profit sectors, including economic development, government management, strategic and long-range planning, large-scale infrastructure projects, public relations, crisis communications, and events management.
David earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Brigham Young University and a Master of Public Administration from the University of Utah. He and his wife are avid runners and outdoor enthusiasts, and they have four children. He is the son of a 20-year Veteran with United States Navy. Nothing is more important to him than his family, faith and community.
